The Solution: Custom System Integration

The Scan system is a camera-based solution for automatic capture and counting of IFCO returnable crates. With deep learning and AI-supported image processing, the system recognizes different crate types, decodes GRAI codes, and enables complete traceability. Integration with PLC and SAP creates seamless connection to existing IT processes.
Edge.Trace complements the system as a central platform: All captured count data is stored, visualized, and analyzed. Via the web HMI, responsible personnel have access to inventory, movement data, and statistics from anywhere – for complete traceability in returnable logistics.
